Growing impact: Additional grants amplifying earthquake relief efforts

We are excited to announce that our Kahramanmaras Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund is extending its support with additional grants totalling £113,360 to four organisations, furthering the reach of their ongoing projects.

We are introducing three new additions to our Kahramanmaras Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund:

We are providing £71,000 to the Nesin Foundation, bringing the total project budget to £168,025. The foundation will hold age-specific activities for at least 150 children in Hatay, and a two-day workshop for 40 participants, empowering psychosocial support trainers, professionals, and volunteers in the affected provinces.

We are providing £14,120 to the Rural Schools Transformation Network, bringing the total project budget to £118,287. This will be used to deliver in-person group mentoring sessions with teachers in 60 rural schools affected by the earthquakes. In addition, informative printed materials will be produced for teachers and families, ensuring widespread access to resources.

We are providing £14,120 to the Teachers Network, bringing the total project budget to £90,012. The network will support newly appointed teachers in the affected regions, focusing on enhancing their psychosocial skills and well-being and raising awareness of rights-based approaches to working with children.

We are providing £14,120 to the El Ele Federation, bringing the total project budget to £75,020. The Federation will deliver a comprehensive 30-day face-to-face training program to improve the capacity of foster family associations and provide counselling to foster families in Adana and Kahramanmaras.

We will continue to share updates, so please subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed about our grantees and their impact on the ground. Your ongoing support is vital to make a lasting impact. Thank you.
